Over the last six months, as a passionate software engineer, I've spent over six weeks developing many different Slack bots. Although many people don't know how to make good conversational software, I've learned some key aspects that I use on all my chatbots and recommend to others as well.
You need to be able to write your own custom design. While it's not necessary to have an artist's eye, it can help you come up with a unique design that speaks to your audience. Remember that your customers are a niche of a niche. If you do not provide them with a way for them to communicate to other users, they won't be interested in your product.
You should test-drive your software product before shipping it. This means finding a group of users in your niche that have similar wants and needs as your product. Find out what they're saying to each other via text messaging. From there, you'll have an idea of what you should be offering.
Give the product a try yourself. There are a lot of products available for sale today, but not all of them really work for your users. Test drive some of them and see which one has the most user retention. Don't think of this as "buying into the hype." Your customer's success is directly related to your product and its ability to keep them happy.
Don't sell your product to your friends and relatives. Yes, your friends and relatives can help you with your product, but your objective is to sell it. They may be willing to buy it and tell their friends about it, but they will be doing so as an outsider. If you want to reach your target audience, you need to get their feedback. You can send them survey invites or a free trial to test your product. Even if they're hesitant to try the product right now, they may be pleasantly surprised when you start to make it useful to their team.
All in all, the best way to develop a conversational ai product is to be a user yourself. This means having the product tested by yourself first, testing and tweaking until you find something that actually works.
Make sure that your product doesn't sound like your grandma's kitchen utensils. It sounds cheesy and unappealing, but it's important to have something that reflects your own brand. If you don't have a great design, you'll need to hire someone who does. Make sure the company specializes in your type of product to give you an edge.
Remember that your sales letter should be short, simple and to the point. Your goal is to capture the customer's attention and make them want to see more of what you have to offer. Learn moe about smart ai chat bots here: https://youtu.be/9KZwRBg4-P0
